What Does It Mean To Be A Man?

Next week my small group guys and I will be taking our group in a more focused direction.

I was convicted that moment that my 11^th grade small group guys and I should no longer jump around, but have a specific focus for small group. Our focus for as long as necessary will be to answer this question:

What does it mean to be a man?

Our main precedent for true manhood is found only in Christ, and we will explore that over the course of the next year.

The method for this discussion will be to present focused questions at each small group. We will validate answers to each question with Scripture or other Christian literature at the following small group meeting. For example:

Small Group Meeting #1: What does it mean to be a man: to have a knowledge of Scripture?

Small Group Meeting #2: Each student presents something from Scripture to address this.

Then, as application, we may spend time learning as much as we can from Scripture for a week or two.

I anticipate great health in my small group as we begin this journey. Pray with me for that.
